Take Two At the Dove Inn-Girls Getaway

Time for take two at the Dove Inn. The first time was a romantic getaway with my husband. The second a much needed girls getaway as we said goodbye to winter and hello to the warm weather of spring. The cool thing is that the Dove Inn does BOTH perfectly.

Rheanne, Constance and I stepped inside, and I was once again captivated by the quaint luxury of the Inn. The lobby starts with an adorable living room - fireplace, vintage fan and all. The lobby leads into a beautiful mini cafe and kitchen complete with the most delicious pastries and coffee.

We made our way upstairs first to the Aspen Suite - the same suite I stayed in with my husband almost a year prior! It was just as lovely as the first time. Vintage tub. Mini living room. Canopy bed with the silkiest sheets. Can we say H E A V E N?!

Our next suite was the Castle Rock Studio! My first time in this room and wow did it blow me away! Located at the end of the Inn with its own private stairway, private kitchen, dining room, and patio.

The girls and I grabbed a bottle of bubbly and some fresh strawberries for a night of laughter, smiles, and a little dancing. You know, friend things. Which begs the question, why does becoming an adult mean no more sleepovers?! PSH. Adult girls night sleepovers are 10 times the fun of the ones of our childhood! Lets normalize girls night adult sleepovers. Our fun and talks until the early morning. After which we crawled into the worlds softest sheets.

I woke up early to walk to Higher Grounds Café across the street where I purchased a quad shot americano with cream. Yes PLEASE! This americano was deliciously STRONG and the barista taking my order was witty and friendly. Though I wasn't able to snag a picture of my latte, it was just the wake up call my body needed!

From there my girls and I set up a complete spa morning. We filled the vintage tub with warm water, coconut milk, lavender, and floating candles while setting up pastries, fresh oranges, and coffee on the side. Then proceeded to indulge in the best kind of morning relaxation feeling as though we were sitting in the lap of soothing luxury.

After the pampering, brunch called our name. Which meant we were headed to Café 13. The Dove Inn is located only a minute walk from all the shops, cafes, and eateries of downtown Golden. Café 13 is a hot spot brunch spot nestled right in the middle of downtown! With gorgeous outdoor seating and a delicious array of brunch, coffee, and pastry options – it’s easy to see why its so popular! I got the café 13 hash with bacon and another americano, Constance got the italian scallion bagel with a cinnamon oat milk latte, and Rheanne got the Southwest veggie salad with a hot tea. The line may be long at times but its 100% worth he wait! Peep the pictures below and you'll see exactly what I mean.

Girls night adult sleepover SUCCESS! You wont regret making a trip to downtown Golden that includes a stay at the Dove Inn, and visiting all the local boutique shops and eateries!
